Mike Jacobson is the Manager of Operations and a civil engineer in S-E-A’s Baltimore, MD, office.
As a civil engineer, Mike investigates a variety of matters including, but not limited to, water and sewer systems, storm water drainage, piping, plumbing, and hydraulic systems for design, construction, and maintenance-related issues. Mike also investigates roof and building envelope damage and water intrusion events. As the Manager of Baltimore Operations, Mike works closely with other engineers and staff to ensure that client expectations are met.
Prior to joining S-E-A, Mike spent seven years assessing and managing water, wastewater, and raw water infrastructure. Mike graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. Mike also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Applied Fluid Mechanics.
Mike is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in several states, including Maryland. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA). He also volunteers with Engineers Without Borders.
When not working, Mike can be found curling up with his dogs and a good book, traveling, playing tennis, or doing just about anything outdoors.
