SEA, Ltd.'s Suspension Parameter Measurement Device (SPMD) is a facility for making vehicle suspension and steering characterization measurements.  Complete vehicle suspension kinematics and compliance tests can be conducted using the SPMD.  The SPMD imparts combinations of vehicle bounce motion, vehicle roll motion, and road plane forces and moments, while monitoring chassis and wheel motion, to provide the full suite of measurements.  The SPMD is useful for conducting R&D and verification measurements, as well as for generating useful data for computer simulation models.
