Mr. Ferguson received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University. He specializes in investigative engineering directed toward analyzing projects in the areas of construction site safety and OSHA compliance. He provides analysis of highway design and construction-related issues, including temporary traffic control set up for possible contributing factors in vehicular/pedestrian accidents. He investigates buildings, structures, and premises for code compliance, accessibility for the physically handicapped (ADA), ingress/egress evaluations, walkway surface investigations and parking lot design and safety. Mr. Ferguson evaluates building envelopes relating to moisture intrusion. He can also address original design documents and specification issues, construction delay issues, construction management practices, project management, and construction scheduling and delay evaluation.
He further specializes in roof evaluations relating to construction issues as well as damage from wind, snow, hail, etc. Mr. Ferguson also analyzes and investigates flooding and backups, storm drainage, storm water management (quantity and quality), hydraulics and hydrology, and water and sewer systems for design, construction and maintenance-related issues. He further investigates structural failures in concrete, steel, timber, roofing, and masonry products and applications. Mr. Ferguson is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the International Code Council (ICC). Mr. Ferguson has provided expert testimony in courts of law.
