Dr. Wernik joined S-E-A, Ltd. in 2014 as a Project Engineer where he investigates, analyzes, and reconstructs accidents involving machines, mechanical products, motor vehicles, and industrial equipment nationwide. Dr. Wernik obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science and Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Toronto in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering.
He has held several engineering positions outside the academic environment, including roles in the automotive industry with Renault-Nissan in France and Magna International. As a Test Engineer with Renault-Nissan, Dr. Wernik developed new testing methodologies for automotive frames. As a Product Engineer with Magna International, he was responsible for the development and testing of automotive closure systems.
