S-E-A teamed up with the Orange Township Fire Department during their annual Fire Safety Week open house to conduct a live burn demonstration using two 8x8 burn cells.  The burn test was designed to increase public awareness of fire safety and to collect valuable data comparing the application of residential sprinkler systems and their effect on the dynamics of a fire.

Experts from S-E-A's Trucking Practice Group educated and entertained all in attendance during a one day "Trucking CSI" event. Attendees received a hands-on education by climbing under, on and around the on-site tractor-trailer with S-E-A team members. Having the opportunity to sit in the driver's seat, start the engine and engage the air brakes, many walked away with an appreciation for what it feels like to sit behind the wheel.

Car and Driver Magazine (July 2011) - Technology designed and manufactured by the engineering staff of SEA Ltd's vehicle dynamics division was recently called upon by Car and Driver Magazine.  The Vehicle Inertia Measurement Facility (VMIF) was used to measure and compare the center-of-gravity heights and polar moments of inertia for the Porsche Caymen R and the Porsche 911 GT3.  Click here to view the story and photograph of the machine.
